Korea Media Management Association held the '2023 Academic Conference for Graduate students' from March 31th to April 1st.
Chaeyun participated in the PhD networking, while YJ and Minju won an award for their research "What affects the globalization of K-pop: examining the external and internal factors".
The research provides meaningful insights with empirical results. First, it provides a future guideline to further a study of exploring the determinants of globalization of K-pop from not only from a cultural perspective but also differentiable characteristics of musical features of K-pop compared to those of western pop.
